Content

This workshop has been developed to help artists find their individual/intuitive marks in their art.
Personal marks, intuitive marks help bring a uniqueness to our visual dimension and aids in making our art unique.
Intuitive, natural movements and abnormal movements will be demonstrated and applied to the painting.
Traditional and non-traditional tools will also be highlighted.

Trainer: Karen Wynne Mackay

Karen Wynne Mackay has been a Professional Calligrapher/Artist for over 30 years, in the
Ottawa area. Her art is made with Acrylic, Oils, Wax, Encaustic, as well as ink and pastels. Her
clients include: The Governor General of Canada, Carleton University, Saint Paul University
and more. She has taught through the School Boards -Adult School evening courses, various
Art Stores and to high school students at John McCrae S.S High School in Nepean, Ontario.
Karen also teaches from her Home Studio.
Karen has enjoyed the expertise of many renowned teachers and mentors. She has studied at
The Ottawa School of Art, University of Lethbridge, University of Washington, Hudson River
Art School in Hudson, New York, and R & F Handmade Paints in Kingston New York. She
has attended many weekend, week long workshops and classes for the last 35 years in Ottawa,
Toronto, North Carolina, Lethbridge, Washington and New York.
Her work can be found at various Shows during the year and Galleries as well as from her
home Studio.

Si un participant annule son inscription, il doit le faire par écrit ou par téléphone 10 jours ouvrables avant la formation pour recevoir un remboursement complet. Culture Outaouias se réserve le droit d’annuler un cours si le nombre d’inscriptions est jugé insuffisant. Les frais d’inscription seront alors remboursés.
